Christian Lee Collins is a multifaceted filmmaker who serves as a producer, cinematographer and editor. His work has been shown in productions like HBO Max, Netflix and Viceland. He uses his artistic vision, dedication, and work ethic to uplift documentary storytellers. Collins is the founder of production company Vac Sax Media LLC, which focuses on doc-lifestyle content for world renown brands like Visa and Ubisoft.

His work in independent filmmaking harnesses his passion for cinema and social justice with a unique creative approach. His work has been recognized through a number of accolades. He co-directed the award-winning short documentary, FITE (2017), which has been screening in California's prisons since its premiere. He produced the award-winning documentary, WHAT THESE WALLS WON'T HOLD (2023), which earned the Golden Gate Award at the San Francisco International Film Festival. Currently, he serves as an associate producer and cinematographer for HOLDER OF THE SKY (2025) as well as writer, producer, and cinematographer for THE PEOPLE’S HISTORY OF NATIVE AMERICA (2023 - 2024).

Collins is a third generation San Francisco Bay Area resident, and it has strongly informed his creative approach in filmmaking. He has an endless pursuit of education, ethical storytelling, to capture cinematic moments— this motivates his work. He champions other filmmakers and his camera packages are always ready and yearning to tell the next story.
